Breaking News: The Avatar Series is Still Alive

After a few years of dead feed from Avatar: the Last Airbender, it is still coming back! There is a new spin-off series called Avatar: The Legend of Korra that is premiering sometime in 2011. There is not that much information about this new series, but there are a few proven facts. Some proven facts are that the new avatar's name is Korra and the series is about her legend...JK. But really, this series is about an Avatar in training named Korra who has already mastered all of the elements except for Airbending. We haven't confirmed it yet, but we have a hunch that this entire series will be based on Korra trying to learn airbending from Aang and Katara's son, Tenzin (yes they did have children and they did get married; man, you'd think it would be obvious after the last scene of the series).

This is great and all, but now here's the bad news: Everyone in Team Avatar died!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This series takes place 70 years after The War ended and surprisingly everyone in Team Avatar (Zuko, Aang, Katara, Sokka, Toph and Suki) passed away within that time frame. Though don't be too disappointed, there will be flashback of the old series and how other events would have occurred if there was a season 4 in the original series, such as the re-building of the Earth Kingdom and Air Temples and even how Zuko found his mother. Rumor also has it that Aang will be Korra's Avatar mentor considering the fact that Roku mentored Aang throughout the series. There are also many other rumors available that we will get back to you on.
